"The Boss" is Shirley's
biggest member of her Kitty family. And a big addition he is!
This picture was taken at just 14 months of age. The Boss now
stands 16.5" at the shoulder, and weighs about 32 pounds.
The Boss has a great temperament,
ready to talk to and be adored by all of Shirley's guests, whether
at a cat show or in the store. He lives at home, but is a constant
traveling companion for Shirley. Look for him at the store on non-show
weekends.
The Boss was a hit at both TICA
and CFA shows in the Household Pet class. He is just short of
Grand Master with TICA. Shirley must be at
the show for him to do well, though. I took him to Rosenberg,
TX recently, sans the Head Madam, and he proved just how well
he could come in dead last without "mom"
to watch him! Boss "retired" from the show ring when he hit 30
lbs. weight. Just got too heavy for the judges to pick him up.
The Boss helped Shirley find the
"purr-fect" blend of catnip for her to package, and is
featured on her
special blend of catnip .
